Fayose Receives Groundbreaking Message From EFCC, No Going Back!!!

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has asked Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, to come to the Commission’s Headquarters on September 20, 2018, for questioning, instead of waiting till his immunity lapses, on October 16.

The letter was in response to an earlier letter written by Fayose, wherein the Governor informed the EFCC of his willingness to appear before the anti-graft Agency, immediately after his tenure expires on October 16.

Access Bank Executive Director Calls for Better Regulation of FinTech

Executive Director, Information Technology and Operations, Access Bank Plc, Mr. Ade Bajomo has called on regulators in the financial services industry to understand financial technology (FinTech) for better regulation.

FinTech is a new industry that uses technology to improve activities in finance. The use of smartphones for mobile banking, investing services and cryptocurrency are examples of technologies aiming to make financial services more accessible to the general public. FinTech generally aim to attract customers with products and services that are more user-friendly, efficient, transparent and automated than those currently available.

At Least 17 Killed In South Sudan Plane Crash

At least 17 people died in South Sudan on Sunday when a small aircraft carrying passengers from Juba International Airport to the city of Yirol crashed, State information Minister Taban Abel told Reuters.

“The plane crashed and killed 17 people and we have three survivors,” Abel told Reuters by phone from Yirol. The plane carried a total of 22 people and two were still missing.

What specific things do you do as a business?

At this early start-up stage (we started in February and have recycled over 40 kg of plastic waste), we are into collation and sorting of PET bottles, aluminium beverage cans and brown corrugated cartons which we sell to post waste collectors who own a material recovery facility in our area of operation.

Apapa gridlock: Exporters reject supply contracts

Nigerian exporters are reportedly turning down contracts to supply products to international buyers owing to the difficulties of moving goods to the ports as a result of the gridlock at Apapa, the nation’s premier port.

Falz Reacts After NBC Fined A Radio Station For Playing His Song This Is Nigeria

Earlier today, it was reported that the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, fined a radio station in Jos 100, 000 Naira for playing Falz’ This is Nigeria song .

NBC said the song is “laced with vulgar lyrics” and as such shouldn’t be played on the radio.
Well, Falz finds the entire situation hilarious and reacted on Instagram, writing: ” ‘This is Nigeria. Look how we living now, everybody be criminal’ is apparently a vulgar line ??”
