MTN Discovers HTTP Injector and VPN Error But There’s A New Alternative

For a couple of months MTN was the target of a network cheat that allowed users use up to 1GB per day using SSH Servers connected to HTTP Injector and some other VPN Apps. This flaw allowed subscribers use up to 1GB of data a day.

MTN has managed to fix the flaw, although not completely as you can still use up to 50MB daily using the apps. I’m guessing MTN has set a timeout on their servers.

The only available alternative people might have to use is the MTN Mpulse Data Plan Configuration.

New HTTP Injector Settings For MTN NG mPulse Data
An Android phone
MTN NG 3G or 4G sim
Use the default MTN APN settings.
> Firstly, migrate to MTN mPulse tariff plan by dialing *344*1#.

> Secondly, subscribe to mPulse monthly bundle of 1.2GB for N150, dial *344*2*1*2#

> After that, download any of the config file below. It doesn’t work for rooted Android phone. Config is valid until (17-Oct-2018). We’ll keep updating this post with new config files

So that’s it . Credits to EntClass for the settings.
