How to start Mushrooms Farming in Nigeria

Mushroom farming in Nigeria is one lucrative agricultural business opportunity that is yet to be fully tapped in the country. With just little start capital you can generate a lot of income growing Mushroom for sale.
NOTE there are two categories of Mushrooms, the edible type and the poisonous type. It is therefore very essentials you identify the edible one to avoid planting the poisonous one.

START UP REQUIREMENT.

Step one: Prepare your compost (this consist of sawdust, water and fertilizer)
Step two; Put some quantity on into polythene bags and add some mushrooms seeds.
Step three: place these polythene bags of mushrooms on shelves stands to grow. in the room you want to use for your mushrooms farm.
Step four; and then keep these bags of mushroom in a not too humid and not too bright place and four days its ready for continuous harvest for three to four months.
HOW TO MARKET YOUR MUSHROOMS.
After harvesting the mushrooms from your farm, selling them wouldn’t be difficult because big hotels and restaurants use mushrooms a lot for preparing continental foods e.g Chinese foods and others. You can sell the mushrooms in the open market for people to buy or export. Also you can export your mushrooms abroad.
