The prizes won during the program included 10 bicycles, 10 small generating set, 20 bed side refrigerators, 10motor cycles, 20 KVA generators and numerous consolation prizes.

The Managing Director, LUBCON, Mr Taye William remarked that the company cared for the customers with aim to alleviate their standard of living.
The customers of the company commended the management for putting smile in their faces describing the scratch and win promotion initiative as laudable and customer friendly.
The programme was graced by eminent people, customers, distributors within and outside Ilorin, Kwara State capital.
The Executive Director, Commercial,Mallam Fatai Woli said that Lubcon was commited to transparency which was internationally recognized by clients and suppliers, saying that the raffle draw programme was introduced with the aim to affect the lives of the users and customers of LUBCON oil products.
“There are lots of gifts to be won as the raffle draw still continues. The gifts to be won include Hyundai salon car”, he stated.
According to him,within the company, integrity, transparency and responsibility are the core principles, adding that Lubcon is managed by a strong team of diverse and talented professionals .
He said the ongoing scratch and win promo was to reward loyal customers and distributors, adding that bed side refrigerators, power generating sets, Keke NAPEP, motorcycles, Hyundai car among other various items are to be won.
Commenting on the corporate social responsibility of the company, the director of commercial said various educational sports competition had been organised where fantastic prizes were won.
Lubcon is an ISO certified Oil and Gas Company with its headquarters in Ilorin. The company is known all over West Africa for quality products and innovative services which have led to rapid growth in the sub-region.
In 1991, Lubcon was incorporated as a limited liability company to carry out the business of manufacturing, lifting, distribution and sales of petroleum and allied products.
In 1995, Lubcon became the official lubricant blender for NATA (National Automobile Technicians Association). In 2000, Lubcon became the first company in Nigeria to be awarded the prestigious Nigeria Industrial Standards (NIL) award for lubricating oil.
In 2002, Lubcon became the first indigenous Oil and Gas Company to be ISO certified in Nigeria. In 2004, National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers NURTW commissioned Lubcon to blend their lubricants. In 2005, Lubcon acquired a strategic petroleum depot in the coastal city of Calabar. In 2006, National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW made Lubcon its official blender. In 2007, Lubcon acquired tank facilities in the coastal city of Banda for a Petrochemical Complex in 2009.
To distribute its wide range of products, Lubcon maintains a network of active retail outlets in more than 63 locations all over Nigeria.
In addition, Lubcon, in joint partnership with National Automobile Technicians Association (NATA), has established over hundred sales outlets in most mechanic villages all over Nigeria.
The driving force behind Lubcon’s investments is alternative energy projects. Apart from solar and bio-fuel technologies, the company is also considering nuclear energy technology as well as Hydro Power development.
This company is the only independent lubricant blending and grease making plant in Ghana. Operational since 2002, the facility has an installed annual capacity of 20 million litres per annum of lubes and greases. The plant situated in Tema, Ghana, strategically placed to serve the West African and part of Central African markets. Lubcon Ghana is also licensed to carry out bunkering services in the West African Coast.
Lubcon Niger commenced operations in 2004. It is currently marketing fuels and lubricants for the government of Niger and her citizens.
Lubcon Liberia was incorporated in 2007 to market fuels, lubricants and other petroleum products. Also, Lubcon has distributorships in Benin Republic and Burkina-Faso.
Lubcon Ethiopia was incorporated on 31st August 2009 to blend lubricants, market fuel and other petroleum products in Ethiopia and other East and Central African countries.
